Warranty, Return Policy And Upgrade Policy |
Warranty Policy All Retail products carry the original manufacturer’s warranty, unless otherwise specified. Please contact the product’s manufacturer for support during the warranty period. This information may be found in the support documentation provided with the product. All retail package items are covered by J.C. Computers for a period of thirty (30 days). Our warranty does not cover any damage resulting from abuse, misuse, or modification of the product. We reserve the right to repair or replace defective products as we find appropriate. Our J.C. Computers, OEM products, systems and notebooks carry the J.C. Computers Limited Warranty, unless otherwise specified. J.C. Computers warrants its products to be free from defects for a period of one year, and at our option, will replace or repair the product free of charge. J.C. Computers’s Systems carry one-year parts and labor warranty. Notebooks carry a one-year parts and labor warranty. CPUs and Printers are covered by J.C. Computers for a period of thirty (30) days. Thereafter, all printers and cpu(retail package) )are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. This warranty does not cover repairs necessary due to misuse of product, accidental damage, or natural disasters. Refurbished and Clearance Items carry a 14-day warranty. J.C. Computers will honor this warranty on a carry-in basis only. Shipped packages will not be accepted, nor will we provide shipment for replacement products. J.C. Computers is only responsible for configuring hardware and software used in complete system purchases. Please contact the software manufacturer for support if purchased individually or from another vendor. We do not warrant products to be completely error-free or compatible with other products, unless they have been pre-configured by J.C. Computers. Products purchased at J.C. Computers will function only as specified by the manufacturer. Any claims made by J.C. Computers regarding any product, whether expressed or implied, are accepted at the purchaser’s discretion. Return Policy Parts, other than software, returned within ten (10) days from date of invoice, are eligible for refund or exchange. The original invoice or receipt must accompany all product returns. CPUs, Cables, Computer Desk, Chair, and blank media are non-refundable and are purchased at your own risk. Please contact manufacturer for service or replacement. Notebooks, Desktop Computers, or Computer Parts may be returned within thirty (30) days of purchase, but will incur a 20% restocking fee. Returned items with missing parts, software, or packaging, or printers with installed toner or ink cartridges are also subject to the 20% restocking fee. Cash refunds exceeding $100 will be issued by J.C. Computers corporate office check within (10) working days of return. Credit card refunds will only be issued to the same credit card with which the purchase was made. All returned checks are subject to a $20 processing fee, each. Labor, Service, and Delivery Charges are not refundable. Upgrade Policy All parts used in
upgrades carry J.C. Computers’s one-year part warranty. J.C. Computers warrants the service performed
for 30 days, but only covers the original service. J.C.
Computers is not
responsible for data lost during upgrades or repairs from hardware failure or
other unforeseen problems, so a backup of important data should be performed
